Gold Star Mothers & Families Event
The last Sunday of September has been designated as Gold Star Mothers and Families Day to honor the memory of those sons and daughters who gave their lives for their country while serving in the armed forces.
Holiday Wishes
Holiday Wishes is an annual event for Gold Star Families to come together for holiday entertainment, the opportunity to recognize their fallen soldier and remember them during the ornament ceremony.
Post Deployment Seminars
One of the greatest struggles for many SC National Guard members and their families is post deployment. The SCNGF funds programs that help soldiers and their families overcome the challenges of returning home. We've had the honor to hear from some families how the programs helped them through those difficult times.
Scholarship & Tuition Assistance
Every year, the South Carolina National Guard Foundation provides SC Guard members, and their families, tuition support for higher education through an annual scholarship program. Through generous sponsors, we help them make a life filled with opportunities. Scholarship applications are accepted beginning February 1 until March 31. Awards are announced at the end of May.
